Relationships can be both wonderful and difficult – sometimes all in the same day. How we love one another can often times be a challenge.
\nI’m excited about a new journey Steve and I are taking with a City Group from our church led by Mark and Audrey Alman.
\nWe are going through the book titled How We Love<\/em> by Milan and Kay Yerkovich (published by WaterBrook Press) with five other couples and six single young men and women.
\nEarlier this year my counselor recommended this book and I’ve been\u00a0digesting\u00a0it one bite at a time.
\nI’m learning and growing.
\nI see my communication style\u00a0in a fresh new way. I’ve found help to iron out some of the difficult areas of my relationships.
\nI like it so much I’ve been giving it as birthday or anniversary gifts to the\u00a0people in my life.
\nFriends, siblings, parent-child, co-worker, in-laws, you name it, your relationship can be more effective after learning these strategies.
\nThis book truly has the capacity to change your life.
\nOver the next eight weeks I’m going to share\u00a0what God is showing me about my communication and love styles.
\nSome things were no surprise, but I’ve learned a few new things about myself.
\nI hope to encourage you to take a look at your styles.
\nI pray this new knowledge will be put to work to make your life rich with clear communication.
\nYou deserve a life filled with life-giving relationships.
